Uden at skulle gøre mig voldsom klog på bestemmelse af dununger af skalleslugere, så vil jeg tro, at dette er Stor Skallesluger (Mergus merganser).
Grunden hertil er bl.a., at Toppet Skallesluger, så vidt jeg ved, ikke yngler i Mellemeuropa.
Desuden har de to unger nedadbøjet næbnegl, hvilket jeg ikke ville forvente på en juvenil Toppet Skallesluger.
Håber nogen vil støtte eller rette mig!

This photo is showing a downy young of Common Merganser from the same locality and with the same photographer.
I am far from expert in downy young of mergansers, but I have compared downy youngs in the gallery of Netfugl among these "....12213", and in my eyes the bill structure in his downy young of Common Merganser is different from the structure of his Red-breasted Marganser, the bill is blackish without red, and the nostril is closer to the tip of the bill. Also the limit between feathers and base of bill (where the white line is meeting the bill) is more rounded in his downy young of Red-breasted Merganser.
Thus it seems to me that the identification of the Red-breasted Merganser youngs above is correct.

Nævnes toppet som vintergæst men ikke som ynglende, men heller ikke stor er nævnt under ynglende arter.
