The bird still at the area since December 28, 2011.
I looks huge compared with Yellow-legged Gull.
The much paler grey upperpart made it easy to locate within the flock. The spot was at 3 hours drive from San Cibrao, the Thayer's Gull spot. The bird was at really long distance (around 200m) in late evening with a cloudy sky. |
