Hi Otto.
The lack of a yellow throat and the presence of a white supercilium and black earcoverts makes your Dendroica a 'myrtle'and not Audubon´s.
Great images!

Hello Jan and Otto
The fault is mine and not Ottos. Otto had called this bird a Yellow-rumped Warbler without assigning the specific race. Since I was under the impression that Audubon´s had a westernly distribution and Myrtle an easterly distribution, I assigned this bird photographed in Alaska to Audubon´s.
But after checking I now clearly see that Jan is correct and this indeed is a Myrtle Warbler (Dendroica coronata coronata) which has an easternly and northern distribution in North America.
The titel has now been changed to Myrtle Warbler (Dendroica coronata coronata).
Apologies and best wishes,
RSN (admin).
