Species that, although originally introduced by man either deliberately or accidentally, have now established a regular feral breeding population, which apparently maintain itself without necessary recourse to further reintroduction.
The seven category C species are: Canada Goose, Egyptian Goose, Mandarin Duck, Ruddy Duck, Common Pheasant, Rock Pigeon and Eurasian Eagle Owl.
Observations of the species marked with an asterisk (e.g. *Little Shearwater) has to be submitted to the Danish Rarities Committee for approval. Exceptions can be recent records of birds, which have been generally 'accepted' by the Danish birding scene.
The figures in brackets after the species name indicate the number of RC accepted records and the total amount of birds involved. If the bracket is red, it means that not all accepted records are shown. If the bracket is black, it means that all accepted records are included in the list.
For RC species and a few other species, it is possible to click at the "info" link to see the total list of records.
